Outcry of a man who suffers after betraying his loved one.
Zeki Müren, without dispute the most enchanting male character of the Turkish Art Scene ever, leaves one breatheless in this early recording with the selflessness in his interpretation and transparency in his voice (you can almost see his pain passing through his soul and crystallizing in tha air). Naivity and freshness of his voice in this song however disappears in his later recordings; the beautiful desperation of youth leaves its place to a mostly overemphasized and slightly lost genuinity.
